- 4 tart apples
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 jar Santa Fe Season Red Chile Cranberry Sauce
- 1 cup lemon water (1 part lemon 3 parts water)
- Egg wash (1 egg yolk 1/2 cup water)
Preheat oven 350F. Peel and core apples. Roll in lemon water. Thaw pastry and roll out. Cut into squares large enough to cover apples. Place apples in center of pastry and fill core with egg wash. Wrap apples with dough, invert on to cookie sheet. Brush egg wash onto pastry. For a decorative touch make leaves with remaining dough and decorate. Bake 40-50 minutes or til golden brown
