Tips for Making Quick Green Chile Chicken Stew

Cut the chicken into similarly sized pieces so it cooks evenly. Lightly brown the chicken in the butter before adding the remaining ingredients.

Keep the heat low while the stew cooks covered. During the final uncovered cooking period, stir as needed and watch the consistency. Additional cooking will allow more liquid to evaporate and produce a thicker stew.

Fire Roasted Hatch Green Chile Flavor

Santa Fe Seasons Fire Roasted Green Chile Salsa is made with green chile, jalapeño, onions, garlic and spices. It gives this chicken stew its fire-roasted green chile flavor without requiring a separate list of seasonings.
